J'ecris toujours assis a ma table
et relevant la tete, ma vie indicible, ma vie,
du sommeil dans l'obscurite complete,
de la vie commune et ordinaire
a vous cette ame perdue Ross Priddle,
mon chant entrecoupe de cris!
...plus doux encore que le * sommeil,
assez de mots, assez de metaphores,
je vous la donne meme avant que vous l'ayez meritee,
les cornes du bison, les ailes du Kevin Thurston,
grande poesie des choses banales,
troubles de la circulation, dorment les millionnaires,
la belle cantatrice aux yeux violets
chantait, les monts les hommes,
folie de la nuit fievreusse, Lannie
Brockstein, que j'aille dans les lieux inhabites,
loiin des livres, ou n'est-ce qu'une illusion.
