#402, 734 - 2nd Ave. NW,
I had a cardboard box printer paper came in half full of assorted left over newsletters. I had them soaking in water for about two months in a plastic garbage can in the back yard. Stirring it occasionally with a shovel. I guess the ink stopped mosquitoes. I needed the use of the can to gather leaves while raking the yard. So I dumped the pulp mess on the ground in a pile. soggy, half dried it sat there about two months. It has rained a lot. I decided to put the slop back in a plastic trash can. I was going to make pulp doll heads but it smells rotten. Anyway the pulp pile on the ground when flipped around was full of maggots, but not maggots, swarming maggot looking little TERMITES. I put the slop in a plastic trash can. Packed it down and sprayed the top with bug spray. I have filmed the process from perfect newsletters to termite pulp over the last months while filming paintings and burning stuff on the patio grill. It should make a nice film. Now that is art.
