just got the new fhole http://fhole.blogspot.com (#7) from daniel F. Bradley: 26 pages! 8 1/2 by 11! & i was glad to see Billy Mavreas (aka EHEL (link on side-bar)) gracing the cover... also in this issue: a couple of photos by john w. macdonald of that jw curry performance (link: http://johnwmacdonald.com/blog/2005/archive2005.html (september)) & some toner art by reed altemus (see link on bottom or sidebar) & an "&" visual poem by nico vassilakis (which might have been able to share it's page with another tall narrow visual poem by jennifer books which follows a couple pages later) & a lettraset concrete poem by judith copithorne & a couple of "meaning" visual poems by geof huth & a (rather wicked) visual collaboration by john m. he's had this printed up on kodak professional endura paper at boylan's here in medicine hat: http://www.bpcimaging.com and it has a wonderful chromium sheen to it! it's also nice for me to see a work of art that's larger than 8 1/2 by 11 for a change! (cloud paintings aside!)

this is me reading in Prince George, BC (at Books & Co.) in July of 2001. and the blur in front of me is jwcurry (who was the headliner) he did in fact "ride the rails" all the way from ottawa to vancouver and then on from vancouver all the way up to prince george (although i sort of got the impression that riding the rails was just an economic way to travel for him) [with apologies to dfb]
